Since 1966, Jerry Glaser’s Oval Bowl Gouges have been recognized for their outstanding performance, proper flute geometry, balanced mass, and exceptional stability during demanding turning operations.

The flute shapes of all Glaser Hitec tools are precision ground on advanced CNC grinding machines, then hardened and cryogenically tempered. Each tool is further enhanced with our proprietary Surface Compacting Technology, which refines the steel surface and produces a micro-burr structure that improves cutting performance at the edge.
