About 3/8″ French Bedan CPM10V

The Glaser French Bedan features sides that slope inward toward the bottom, providing additional clearance during cutting and helping prevent the tool from binding in the workpiece.

This versatile tool can be used for rolling small beads, sizing tenons, rounding spheres, and smoothing small-diameter spindle work. It is also excellent for producing clean, straight cuts at the bottom of boxes, making it a valuable addition to the woodturner’s toolkit.

Manufactured from premium CPM 10V steel, the tool offers exceptional wear resistance and long edge life. Produced through powder metallurgy, the steel is atomized and compacted to create a highly uniform structure with excellent dimensional stability.

Features

• Premium CPM 10V steel for outstanding wear resistance
• Sloped side geometry to reduce binding and improve clearance
• Ideal for beads, tenons, spheres, and box work
• Handles filled with Vibration Dampening Gel (VDG)
• Assembled on a 12″ Glaser Hitec handle
