3/8″ Beading Tool CPM10V

The Glaser Beading Tool is a versatile turning tool that can be considered a type of chisel. It is ideal for forming grooves with flat bottoms, projecting dowels or spigots, and shaping tight convex curves or beads.

The tool is also well suited for truing and cleaning the ends of cylinders, making V-cuts for chuck spigots, decorative work, or layout marking, and creating recesses during faceplate turning. Its precise cutting geometry provides excellent control for a wide range of detailed turning operations.

Manufactured from premium CPM 10V steel, the tool offers exceptional wear resistance and long edge life. Produced through powder metallurgy, the steel is atomized and compacted to create a highly uniform structure with excellent dimensional stability.
